We took our 5 year old and his friend to see Santa today and they had a lovely time! They loved popping bubbles with one of the elves outside and then really enjoyed seeing Santa and Mrs Claus inside. We came away with a really nice photo and a lovely "extra, early" Christmas present! Our son is writing all about it in his scrapbook as I'm typing this. It was perfectly pitched for both the children and grown ups. Thank you!

My daughter was very nervous about going to see Santa but was so distracted by the elves dancing around outside the grotto that she forgot her trepidation and was happy to go inside. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly Mr AND Mrs Claus who proceeded to tell stories and had all the children singing about Rudolph. This was great! Worth every penny.

This Santa experience was far the best I have ever been too, having two children of 7 & 9 they have been to many. The story Santa told them was fabulous and very convincing. I thought this was excellent value for money as we spent a whole 30 ins with each Mr and Mrs Claus and received a photo and nice present. There was also not the awful queuing I am normally used to as we were allocated a time slot beforehand. A great time was had by all.

Wow !
I am not normally a person who spends time leaving posts on sites like this, however on this occasion I could help but tell all you parents how good this was.
My wife and I wanted to take our 4 year old son to visit father Christmas in Lapland this year. Without going into to much detail I was asked to leave work 2 weeks ago being made redundant from my job after 6 years.
This of course has meant that the visit to Lapland has been put on hold.
Well to cut a long story short my wife found this site whilst looking for a venue in London to take Jack to see the big man himself.
It was fantastic to say the least. My son loved it I loved it...We all loved it. This place made me feel like a kid again, and brought a massive smile all of our faces.
After all the stress we have been through in recent weeks I would like to thank everyone at the secret village for helping to make our Christmas a special one.
Thank you , Thanks you
I would recommend everyone young and old to visit Mr & Mrs Claus
If anyone reads this Have a great Christmas
James

We took our 2 year old daughter and she was sooo amazed to see Santa. The venue was excellent and the attention that all the kids ( 3 all together ) got was probably the longest and the best they could get! We highly recommend it and hope to come back next year again:O)

I took my daughter, 7, and my son,5, and we had our 7month baby with us too. We saw Santa and Mrs Claus. One thing that often spoils a visit to Santa's grotto is queueing for hours and being with Santa for two minutes especially with a baby. This was the opposite experience. I booked a half hour slot the day before so there was no queueing and we had half an hour with Father Christmas and a second slot booked with Mrs Claus. Father Christmas had the children believing every word and asking quite a lot of questions which he answered very well. He even told them a story about meeting me when I was a little girl. The presents were books, good ones which the children rated an excellent present as did I. He blew them a kiss to keep safe under their pillows. The visit to Mrs Claus was great too. This was more of a make and do activity. We decorated gingerbread Christmas cards with icing and sweets to take home. We really enjoyed making them and showing them off later. We wore special Santa Aprons for the session. We also took home photos of the children with Santa and Mrs Claus. When we were back indoors my daughter suddenly remembered something and ran off to tell her brother. When I asked what it was she said she had remembered her promise to Father Christmas to keep the kiss safe under her pillow.

What a magical experience! I have also had very poor experiences of Santa's grotto and was quite nonchalant about this year's excursion...but what an amazing time we all had; Santa had my 2 children, Jonathan & Emily, in the palm of his hand regaling them with stories from Lapland and there is much participation from the 'guests'. Despite being located on the south bank, the grotto is warm & cosy, furnished with green & red mattresses. Emily was rather reluctant to enter at first but after 30 minutes, we couldn't get her to leave. I have promised to take them both to see Mrs Claus before Christmas.
Best 'grotto' I have ever encountered. Thank you so much for making my children's Christmas!

I went to Santa's Secret Village on a wet afternoon with my grandchildren aged 4 and 18 months. The cosy Santa's Kitchen where Mrs Claus helped them decorate gingerbread slices with icing and sweets (too much temptation for the younger child and most were in her mouth) made up for the awful weather. Then the elf took us to see Santa himself in his cabin - a lovely warm room with large scatter cushions and a good story about Rudolph plus time for questions and of course requests for Christmas presents from Santa. A nice gift and a good photograph taken by the photo elf made this a truly worthwhile and good value experience. Well done to all, I shall be recommending this to my friends.

Fantastic experience from start to finish and great value. I have a 4 year old and 18 year. They were straight into decorating the gingerbread with the help of Mrs Santa who made it lots of fun and relaxed the children, then on to meet Father Christmas who was magical with his great stories and cosy grotto where you can sit and listen to his tales, the children get to ask questions & tell him what they would like before receiving a present from his sack. You end up with a lovely photograph to remind you of this little escape from reality!

I took 4 children from 2 to 6 and they absolutely loved it. Santa was so convincing and because we had an allocated slot it meant no waiting around. The children came away with their hand painted gingerbread and tales of Santa and photos. Not to be missed, I know we will be back next year!

I took 3 kids to the Santa on south bank just opposite giraffe/eat café. not sure what the other comment was about but it was by far the best value Santa we had seen (and unfortunately been to a few). first they made their own gingerbread with Mrs Santa and then saw father Xmas and all got a photo and a book. they were with them for half hour and they loved it and you're not stuck in some a long queue in a dept store as you can book in and there are loads of things to do round there.

We had a super start to the Christmas build up by taking our children to Santa's secret village. The interview with Santa was very realistic and original, he was jovial and kind and it was a great first introduction to Santa for our little boy. He thoroughly enjoyed his time decorating the gingerbread and we have some lovely photos of our memorable day. We would recommend this as a great way for you and your family to get into the Christmas mood.
