Press Release
* Press Release * Santa returns to the South Bank!
With 20 interactive shows a day, a special gift and the chance to meet Santa Claus for just £15, Santa’s Secret Village is the only place to take your kids this Christmas.
“How does Santa know if I’ve been good?”
“How will I get my presents when we haven’t got a chimney?”
“How many elves does Santa employ?”
If you haven’t worked out the answers to all your child’s Christmas conundrums yet, don’t panic. Now they can ask Santa themselves at Santa’s Secret Village.
Part of the Cologne Christmas Market, running from the 20th Nov to 23rd Dec 2009 inclusive, the Secret Village will give your kids the opportunity to grill Santa as part of one of the twice hourly thirty minute shows running every day.
As well as putting their questions to the great man, he will tell your treasures some of his best kept secrets as well as some funny stories about sticky situations he’s got himself into over the years. At the end of the session each child will get a photo with Santa, and of course a special gift.
Last year Santa’s Secret Village proved to be a huge hit, receiving fantastic reviews and being featured in the Daily Mirror as one of the 'ten fantastic festive days out for kids'. We also attracted celebrities including the late Jade Goody, Dr Raj Persaud and Cerys Matthews with their little ones.
As well as being a magical experience, the shows are timed so there are no boring queues.
Each experience lasts 30 minutes, and costs just £15 per child. The shows start at 10am and there are two an hour up to 6pm later at the weekend, everyday from Nov 20th– Dec 23rd. Santa’s Secret Village is located in front of Southbank Centre on Queen's Walk within the Christmas Market.
